The fan works great but I didn't expect to care this much about the lights. They light up the whole cooking surface really evenly and make the island much nicer to use at night. The hood looks sleek and the touch controls are easy to read. Good purchase.

Since an island hood is visible from basically everywhere in the room, appearance mattered a lot to us. This one looks clean on all sides and the stainless has a nice finish. It also performs well, so thankfully we didn't have to choose between looks and function.

We already had a stainless range and refrigerator and this hood tied everything together nicely. The finish looks consistent with the other appliances and the shape is modern without looking too trendy. Performance has also been excellent so far.

This hood looks much nicer installed than I expected from the pictures. The brushed stainless gives it a professional look and the chimney cover finishes everything off nicely. Performance has been great too. It pulls cooking odors out quickly and the lights give us plenty of visibility over the island.

I do a lot of high heat cooking and wanted something that wouldn't struggle. So far this has handled searing, stir fry and frying without a problem. I usually start it before cooking and let it run a few minutes after. The kitchen stays noticeably fresher.
